Oral Health Therapist
Born and raised in Sydney, Alicia is a warm, patient-centred oral health therapist who helps people feel calm and confident in the chair. She completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2009 at the University of Queensland, laying a strong foundation in preventive care, gum health and behaviour-change education. Alicia began her career with Queensland Health in the School Dental Program, where she cared for children and teenagers across diverse communities and refined a gentle, reassuring approach for nervous patients and first-timers.
Alicia has a special interest in orthodontics. She enjoys supporting patients throughout their smile-straightening journey—from early growth and development assessments and habit coaching, to oral hygiene guidance around braces and clear aligners, and long-term retention advice. Her focus is on practical education and meticulous, evidence-based care so patients can maintain healthy gums and teeth during treatment and beyond.
In the clinic, Alicia is known for clear communication and a light touch. She takes time to explain options, uses age-appropriate language with kids, and partners with families to build lifelong oral-health habits. Whether she’s tailoring a home-care plan, coordinating with the dentist on a comprehensive treatment plan, or celebrating a patient’s new smile, Alicia’s goal is long-term, functional and confident outcomes.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
